New Years Traditions At Our Home

With the New Year in just a few days,I thought I would share what we do. As our children are getting older it has become easier to keep them busy and happy. My olders would be content with us letting them play video games the whole night. We want some family fun! Through the years we have found some great ideas to keep everyone happy and busy. !. COUNTDOWN BAGS 2. BOARD GAMES 3. CARD GAMES 4. VIDEO GAMES 5. ASSORTED SNACKS 6. WATCH THE BALL DROP These are just a few ideas that have worked for us over the years. We have 7 children 3-15. It is a wide range of ages to provide enjoyable fun. My older boys are wanting to just play video games but we need to provide fun away from those. Our younger children always enjoy the other activities. 1. COUNTDOWN BAGS These are my favorite of all we do for New Years! Here's how we do it. Beginning at 8 P.M. each child opens a paper bag with a small toy/games/activity inside. Each hour until midni
